I wanna hold hands with a guy that I like, but my hands are too sweaty?

I haven't had a boyfriend in five years. Guys never look at me. And now I met this really sweet guy and he likes me, he actually likes me. And I like him a lot too. Last night I was a slightly drunk, and we were dancing and he reached for my hand. Now normally I would hide my hands because I have pulmonary hyperhydrosis. But my hands don't seem to get sweaty when I'm drunk. So we held hands, which was really nice. But then I got sober, and I got nervous, and my hands started sweating, and I couldn't hold hands with him anymore. And it just sucked. It really sucked. I have to actually get drunk or wear gloves in order to touch someone else, because I'm too scared they'll feel how wet my hands are and think that I'm a freak. I wish this guy also had pulmonary hyperhydrosis, because it would make my life so much easier. But he doesn't. So.. what can I do in order to minimize or prevent my sweaty palms? Because I really want to hold hands with this guy.I wanna hold hands with a guy that I like, but my hands are too sweaty?
Have you tried dusting them with corn starch powder, or talcum powder.......? What have you tried?

There is a deodorant called block sweat that rachael ray endorsed one day at her show , it was given to firefighters and they said it worked for underarms........i dont know if there is a powder equivalent or if you could roll it on your hands or what. Some also say to soak your hands or feet in tea bags.......for at least 15 to 30 minutes.........idk

otherwise, keep wearing gloves or as soon as u feel them get sweaty wipe it off on your trousers or something :)
